02 / HOW WE WORKPRINCIPLES BEFORE PERKS

A small team.
A high bar for clarity.

We want GrounLab to be a place where expertise is respected, disagreements become better decisions, and useful work matters more than performance theater.

01

Evidence over volume

We prefer a well-supported point to a loud one, in product decisions and in team conversations.

02

Direct ownership

People closest to the problem receive context, authority, and responsibility for the result.

03

Human judgment stays visible

Automation should expand expert capacity while preserving review, provenance, and the right to override.

04

Craft serves usefulness

We care about polish because trustworthy tools should feel considered, legible, and dependable.

03 / HIRING PROCESS

A process designed
to respect your time.

Each active role will publish its exact process, decision criteria, compensation range, and location expectations.

  1. 01

    Complete role brief

Every opening will state the mission, responsibilities, location expectations, compensation range, and decision process.

  2. 02

    Evidence review

We will review relevant work, writing, research, or shipped products rather than filtering for prestige signals alone.

  3. 03

    Working conversations

You will meet the people and problems connected to the role. Any substantive exercise will be time-bounded and paid.

  4. 04

    Clear decision

We will communicate the outcome directly and avoid unnecessary interview rounds or ambiguous holding patterns.
